Adorado is a wine with biological and oxidative aging, from a solera from 1900, created in the historic winery of the Sanz Family in Secala-Menade 1820 with the most austere technology, the hands.
Our ancestors made this type of wine in the concrete tanks located in the cellars, where, naturally, a veil of flower was created due to the constant humidity and temperature conditions throughout the year. After the corresponding time in said tanks, the wine was removed and the fourth criadera was sprayed.
In 1967, this process was paralyzed due to a flood in Secala-Menade 1820. The solera 'traveled' from one family winery to another... Medina, Rueda, again to La Seca... until Richard reactivated the criaderas system in 2018, but with his interpretation: the wine with which it is sprayed, Verdeja From centuries-old vines, it ages for about a year in clay jars under a veil of flowers.
For Adorado, a somewhat late harvest is sought, so that the grape has a higher alcoholic level and does not top. The flower veil is generated naturally and never disappears.
