Viñas Elías Mora is a red wine made by Bodegas Elías Mora in San Román de Hornija, D.O. Bull.
Bodegas Elías Mora is a winery founded in 2000 by two victories (Victoria Benavides and Victoria Reariente, betting since its inception for making great quality wines in the D.O. Toro. The winery is currently directed by Victoria Benavides, one of the women with women with More notoriety in the Spanish wine panorama.
The vineyards of the Bodegas Elías Mora (name of the previous owner of these vineyards), located between the Duero and Hornija rivers, with limestone soils with surface and poor gravel soils in organic matter, are cultivated in a traditional way with low yields. These vineyards are planted with prefilexeric bull ink strains, therefore they have not had grafts.
All this allows Bodegas Elías Mora to elaborate wines of very high quality, of native vineyards that show all the character and tradition of a historical area of wine in Spain.
Viñas Elías Mora is a wine made with bull ink, with old vineyards located about 800 meters altitude.
After the manual harvest, in 20kg boxes, with grape selection in the vineyard and in the winery, a preferred maceration is performed for 48 hours. For fermentation, a selected yeast planting is sowing, and fermenting in stainless steel deposits. Once the malactic fermentation is also finished in these deposits, it makes a 6 -month breeding in French oak barrels.
