Description:
Do Ferreiro Albariño is a white wine from the D.O. Rías Baixas produced by the Gerardo Méndez wineries. This wine, a single-varietal Albariño variety, is the original brand of the house.
The grapes used come from our own young vineyards between 5 and 12 years old.
After harvesting, the grapes go through a destemming process and subsequently macerate for one to two days.
Do Ferreiro Albariño is finally settled at a controlled temperature of 15º and decanted twelve hours before fermenting in stainless steel tanks for 24 days.
The Gerardo Méndez wineries are specialized in making wines from Albariño.
These have their roots back in 1850 and have adapted to new times without losing their roots in popular culture.
