On the nose, it displays a range of intense aromas reminiscent of citrus (lemon), green apple, anise and licorice.
In the mouth, it is powerful, surprising with its marked minerality and a salinity reminiscent of the sea breeze. Its acidity is vibrant and balanced, making it refreshing and easy to drink.

Description:
Albamar is a white wine from the D.O. Rias Baixas made by the Albamar winery. This wine is a single-varietal Albariño, the most characteristic variety of the region.
The grapes used by Albamar come from vineyards located on sandy soils very close to the Ría de Arosa. The vineyard, about 25 years old, is located in the O Salnés area and is planted on trellises. The grapes, after being carefully selected, are harvested manually. This avoids unnecessary breakage and seeks to keep the fruit in the best possible condition.
Once in the winery, the Albamar clusters are pressed and, after a brief rest, they go through a settling phase. The Albamar must ferments alcoholically and spontaneously at a controlled temperature. Finally, the wine is devatted and left to rest with its fine lees dissolved for half a year. The result: a white full of sparkle and magnificent freshness.
Albamar, a winery founded about 25 years ago, is directed by Xurxo Alba. Albariños are the house specialty. A family and close project that produces products that a very varied audience can enjoy.
