Description: 

Valduero Blanco is a white wine from the Albillo grape variety produced by Bodegas Valduero in the Ribera del Duero D.O. (Castile and León). 

Valduero, one of the first wineries founded in the Ribera del Duero D.O., is a family project founded in 1984 by Gregorio García Álvarez and continued by his daughters. Located in the village of Gumiel de Mercado (Burgos), their wines are characterized by being single-varietal, high-profile, and with the distinctive character of one of the most renowned Spanish winemaking regions in the world. 

Albillo is a white grape variety perfectly adapted to the climate and terroir of Ribera del Duero. Valduero Blanco is sourced from 12-year-old vines with very low yields. The vineyards are trained using the traditional bush-training system, with no irrigation or chemical fertilizers. The harvest is carried out manually in 14 kg boxes. 

Once at the winery, the Valduero Blanco grapes are cooled for 12 hours, pressed, and the must ferments at a controlled temperature of between 19 and 20°C in stainless steel tanks for a minimum of 14 days. It is bottled without stabilization or filtration. 

Valduero Blanco is a white wine made from the native Albillo variety in the heart of Ribera del Duero.
