Pesquera Crianza is presented with an intense personality and an embrace of ripe red fruits such as raspberry and currant, intertwined with a touch of black fruit, reminiscent of juicy blackberry. In the mouth, it stands out for its freshness and silky texture, while the tannins are discreet and well integrated. The acidity is precise, providing balance to the wine. There are nuances of wood, toast and vanilla that complement its concentrated and slightly spicy profile.

Description:
Pesquera Crianza is a classic red wine from the D.O. Ribera del Duero made by Tinto Pesquera, a Familia Fernández Rivera winery.
The climate in this area is Mediterranean with a continental character characterized by dry summers and long, harsh winters. Temperatures vary greatly from season to season.
This wine is a single-varietal Tempranillo variety (100%) from 200 hectares planted on soil made up of sand and gravel with a background of limestone and clay.
As for the production, after passing through a selection table, the grapes are destemmed. Traditional winemaking is carried out. The grapes undergo maceration with the skins and, subsequently, fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature for two or three weeks.
Finally, Pesquera Crianza spends 18 months in American and French oak barrels and a further 6 months in the bottle.
