Description:
Old vines more than 50 years old where a selection of grape varieties were planted that represented, at the time, the best Duero varieties for producers.
Composed mainly of Tinta Barroca and Tinta Roriz, and Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinto Cão and Tinta Amarela on a smaller scale, these vineyards give Quinta dos Aciprestes Red the complexity and rusticity of a classic Douro.
It ages in French oak vats for a period of 8 months.
