Duas Quintas Tinto is a red wine blend of Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca accompanied by a percentage of various native varieties of the region made by the Ramos Pinto House in Porto, Portugal. 

Ramos Pinto is one of Porto's best-known wine names. Founded in 1880 by Adriano Ramos Pinto, the house went international, exporting its quality ports to the American and European markets. Known for being very respectful of tradition, he makes his wines with classic varieties from the area. Something that he has been able to do very well and that has given him international recognition. 

Duas Quintas Tinto is made with grapes that come from the highest part of the Douro and are obtained from the plots of Quinta Ervamoira, located at 150 meters above sea level, and from the vineyards of Quinta dos Bons Ares, located at 600 meters above sea level. . The bunches are harvested in 150 kilo boxes. 

Upon arrival at the winery, they are destemmed and pressed to carry out the alcoholic fermentation of Duas Quintas Tinto: a part of the grapes is fermented in the traditional granite winepresses that are used to crush the clusters and the other part is fermented in vats. stainless steel. After malolactic fermentation, 20% of the wine ages for thirteen months in French oak barrels, 30% in large oak vats and the rest in stainless steel tanks.
