Description:
Village is a wine mainly made from Albariño, Treixadura and other varieties. Old vineyards purchased over the years in the town of Gomariz. This wine comes from centuries-old vines from As Viñas, O Forcadal and younger ones from Os Canos. Mixture of plots of the same villa. A village is a wine from a town, from a vila .
The combination of different plots that provide depth, elegance and concentration. The complexity, freshness and aromatic intensity is provided by Albariño. The sweet, round, intense, elegant mouth, the Treixadura. The originality, the minority grapes. The unprecedented texture in the mouth is from clay soils; the structure, from the Treixadura; and Gomariz xistos highlight the mineral notes, blended together with a balanced acidity that lengthens the wine in the mouth. Wine with finesse, elegance, intensity and complexity. The personality and history of a wine that shows all the greatness of the town where it was born.
This vintage, with winter cold and a cold spring, delayed fruit set and the viticultural cycle. Flowering in mid-June was followed by a cooler summer, with rain before harvest and a September with little sun and cold nights. A typical year from decades ago.
