Description:
Founded in 1880, Ramon Pinto is considered one of the most international wineries in Portugal. Both its wines and ports are characterized by a taste for tradition. In its preparations it only uses native varieties and since it belongs to the Louis Roederer group, since 1990, it is present in the best places in the world.
Duas Quintas Blanco is made with clusters that come from the highest part of the Douro and are obtained from the plots of Quinta Ervamoira, located at 150 meters above sea level, and from the vineyards of Quinta dos Bons Ares, located at 600 meters above sea level. . The vines are harvested by hand in small boxes and separated by varieties and vineyards.
Upon arrival at the Duas Quintas Blanco winery, it first goes through cold maceration and then direct pressing. 90% of the must obtained ferments in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures and 10% does so in French and Austrian oak barrels of different capacities.
