Alanda Tinto is an original Galician red wine produced by the Quinta da Muradella winery in the D.O. Monterrei. It is a small winery in the hands of José Luis Mateo, and with the advice of Raúl Pérez.
Alanda Tinto is a blend where the protagonist is the Bastardo variety, an almost forgotten native variety, along with other better-known varieties such as Mencia and Garnacha. The grapes come from two small farms cultivated according to the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture.
Alanda Tinto is aged for 12 months in used French oak barrels, and rests in the bottle until it reaches its optimal point to be marketed.
The idea of Quinta da Muradella is to make wines that are a true reflection of the vineyard, with very little intervention in the winery.
Alanda Tinto is a Galician wine with hints of Burgundy. A very limited production of only 2,600 bottles.

Description:
Care, dedication and manual work are the differential values of the wines produced in this winery, which grows grapes in surprising plots located in almost inaccessible places such as A Trabe, Finca Notario or Finca Muradella.
Respect for the environment and preservation of the environment are also hallmarks of Quinta da Muradella, which has a philosophy typical of the winegrowers of yesteryear and only applies natural procedures in its processes.
In fact, all of its production has been certified as organic since 2005. Its wines enjoy great prestige beyond our borders, where Quinta da Muradella places most of its production.
