Description:
Mencía Father is a surprising red wine that has been pampered from the vine, made with the best native grape varieties Mencía and Arauxa by Bodegas Crego e Monaguillo.
Stainless steel vats are used at an average temperature of 23-25º Celsius to macerate and ferment the grapes in the traditional way.
During the entire fermentation process, daily open delagging and pumping over are carried out.
Before proceeding with the malolactic fermentation, a slight microoxygenation is carried out, then the broth is passed through 5000 liter foudres and subsequently transferred to 300 liter French oak barrels for between 8 and 12 months.
Wine belonging to and protected by the Monterrei Designation of Origin.
