Description: 

Pazo Señorans Tras Los Muros is a single-varietal Albariño white wine produced by the Pazo Señorans winery under the DO. Rías Baixas in Galicia, Spain. 

Tras Los Muros is not a typical Albariño. It is a very limited production wine that is made only with grapes that come from the vineyards closest to the winery, hence its name, behind the walls. Strains of the Albariño variety that are harvested manually, in plastic boxes, which give rise to an elegant white wine that is aged in oak barrels for six months, rests for another six months in stainless steel tanks and, then After being bottled, it is refined for another fifteen months in the cellar. 

A pazo is an elegant and stately old Galician manor house, which is generally located in the countryside. Pazo Señorans has a long history and tradition, dating back to the 16th century. The Pazo and the winery are owned by the Bueno Mareque and Pazo Señorans couple. Tras Los Muros is the work of Berta García, a chemical engineer turned winemaker, after her time at the Rovira i Virgili University in Tarragona, who has also worked for renowned wineries.
