Cherry red in color and fairly thick robe. Good intensity on the nose, highlighting aromas of ripe black and red fruits, violets, sweet spices, licorice, balsamic notes, and light toasted notes. The nose has a good attack, with weight and body, polished tannins, good acidity, and a lingering finish.
