Alión is the younger sibling of Vega Sicilia, although it is produced in a separate winery. With each vintage, it gains more followers and is now a must-try among the great Spanish reds. The fruit of a mosaic of vineyards and vines, it represents the complex expression of Ribera del Duero's diversity. The 2022 vintage presented a challenge due to its dry and warm weather; even so, the wine retains its freshness and fruity juiciness, proving to be well-rounded, excellently balanced, and smooth on the palate.
