Description:
Known as our estate wine, it originates from the Pago de Chafandín vineyard, which is planted with vines over 50 years old in very poor soil-an ideal environment for producing high-quality grapes. Jaros is 100% Tinto Fino (Tempranillo). Following the harvest, the wines from different vineyard sectors are evaluated through tasting and then assigned to specific types of barrels based on their individual expression. The wine undergoes a minimum aging period of 21 months in French oak barrels and has an aging potential of over 20 years. Chafandín is a profound wine, rich in minerality, with notes of charcoal, spices, and dark fruit steeped in liqueur. On the palate, it conveys firmness and great length, leaving a lingering aftertaste that invites reflection on the various sensations experienced.
