Description:
Viña Sastre Crianza is a red wine from the D.O. Ribera del Duero. It is made by Bodegas Hermanos Sastre, a chateau-style wine producer located in La Horra, Burgos.
Viña Sastre Crianza is a single-varietal Tinta del País wine. The grapes grow in vineyards that are 20 to 60 years old, at an altitude of 800m, on the slopes of the Duero River, in the Burgos town of Roa, headquarters of the D.O. Douro.
Viña Sastre Crianza is made in an artisanal way, which is why no mineral fertilizers, herbicides or insecticides are used.
After the corresponding maceration and fermentation, Viña Sastre Crianza is aged for 14 months in French and American oak barrels with four rackings.
