Research by the Riedel family, aimed at improving the organic experience of wine, revealed that increasing the interior surface of the glass had a positive impact on the perception of the aroma and flavor of the wine. 

This was achieved through a unique visual effect, which not only adds a more pleasing appearance to the chalice, but also enlarges the surface, thus allowing the wine to open up and fully display its aroma and subtle nuances.
