This was one of the wine shaped glasses designed by Claus J. Riedel, of the 9th generation. The generous size of this glass allows the bouquet to develop fully and softens any rough edges. It emphasizes the fruit, minimizes the bitter qualities of tannin and allows the wines to achieve balance. 

Vinum is RIEDEL's basic line for specific grape varieties. Designed in 1986 by tenth-generation glassmaker Georg J. Riedel, it was created to ensure that any wine lover could afford grape variety-specific glassware. Based on the handmade Sommeliers series, industrial production means Vinum can be offered at a more affordable price. This item is premium machine made.
