Description:
Navaherreros Garnacha de Bernabeleva is a red wine from Vinos de Madrid produced by the Bernabeleva winery. This wine is a single-varietal Grenache.
Coming from the various plots with which the winery works, the Navaherreros Garnacha de Bernabeleva grape is rich and diverse, since each site meets different conditions. Thus, the diversity of orientations, soil types and microclimate result in a unique wine.
The vineyards from which this Navaherreros Garnacha de Bernabeleva is made are between 40 and 80 years old. The harvest processes are carried out by areas, which are subsequently vinified and raised autonomously. In this way, the harvested grapes can go through different types of processes. Some of it, then, is made in oak barrels, while another can be made in stainless steel tanks or concrete containers.
After the various production phases, the Navaherreros Garnacha de Bernabeleva grape is assembled and left to rest in oak barrels of different coopers and different volumes, between 225 and 600 liters. The result: an exceptional wine that has unanimous recognition from critics.
Bernabeleva was born in 1923, when Vicente Álvarez-Villamil bought the land of the farm. The descendants of the founder continue to run this winery today, which continues to produce wines from the land that Don Vicente began to work.
