Zárate Aguardiente de Hierbas is a herbal liquor made by Bodegas Zárate in the Rías Baixas region, Galicia. It is obtained by distilling the bagasse of the Albariño grape together with a mixture of herbs and flowers, such as chamomile, orange blossom, cocoa husk, lemon verbena, cloves, black tea, mint, coriander and cinnamon stick
The resulting liquor is straw yellow in color with golden highlights and has an aroma with herbal hints. In the mouth, it is intense but structured.
