A Pirucha Godello
A Pirucha is a Godello from the Monterrei D.O. that originates on the slopes of As Chas, at an altitude of 550 to 580 meters. The vines, aged between 20 and 40 years, grow in granitic soils containing rock and sand a combination that lends the wine a distinctively mineral character and great aromatic richness.

Description:
The grapes are harvested by hand in 18 kg crates, with careful selection of the bunches at their peak ripeness. Following light destemming and gentle pressing, the must ferments in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve the freshness and characteristic aromas of the Godello variety.
A portion of the wine approximately 20% ages for two months on its fine lees in 2,500-liter French oak *foudres*, while the remainder continues aging on the lees in stainless steel. The components are then blended to achieve a balance of fruit, freshness, volume, and minerality.
On the nose: Aromas of ripe white fruit, citrus, and fennel, with delicate mineral notes reminiscent of the granitic soils where the wine originates.
On the palate: Broad and structured, with fresh, well-integrated acidity. It offers a taut, balanced mouthfeel with good depth and a long, persistent, slightly saline finish.
