Viticulture in the Ribeira Sacra is based
on different pillars that make it heroic.
The vineyards are located on terraces above the Sil and Miño rivers with
inclinations of 40% to 70%. All cultural activities of the vine must be
carried out manually. Vineyards: centuries old, cultivated since Roman times.

Description:
Unique terroir: the influence of the Cantabrian Sea, the rivers and the Atlantic Ocean
together with the continental climate give a ripening to the grapes where natural acidity
is the protagonist. Soils with characteristics of slate, pebbles, sand and
granite. Sub-zone: Amandi. Orientation: south. Varietal: Mencía 70%, Garnacha Tinta
20%, Souson 10%
Harvest: between the end of September and the beginning of October. It is essential to take into
account the orientation of the vines, the plots that face south, more exposed to the
sun, are harvested before those that face north. Vintage: 2020.
Alcohol: 14.30. Residual sugar: 1.8 gr/lt. Number of bottles: 4000
Aging: 9 months of aging in 70% American barrels, 30% French barrels, both first-use, then two years in bottle.
Tasting notes: Amandi offers concentrated, fresh and elegant wines, with great aging potential.
