Antidote is the wine that Bertrand Sourdais makes in the Ribera del Duero region of Soria. Bertrand is an expert on high-altitude vineyards with a strong sandy component, and he has a philosophy of respectful cultivation of the environment. These are very old Tinto Fino vines, many of them pre-phylloxera, since the sandy soils do not allow phylloxera to grow so easily.
